Therapeutic Carriage Driving is an activity that allows an individual with disabilities who cannot be, or does not wish to be, mounted the opportunity to participate in equine-assisted therapy while “mounted” in a carriage. Carriage driving has many physical benefits including improved posture and improved motor skills. Other benefits include increased attention span, improved spatial planning skills and increased self-esteem.
Carriage driving classes are 30 minutes long. Fees are paid in full prior to the beginning of a session unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Summer fees depend upon the schedule offered.
