Equest Auxiliary Presented $125,000 To Therapeutic Riding Programs

Proceeds From 2009 Fall Luncheon and Fashion Show

Dallas, TX –Lynn McBee, Chairman of the 2009 Equest Auxiliary Luncheon and Fashion Show, presented a check for $125,000 to Equest Therapeutic Riding programs.  The sold- out event at Brook Hollow Golf Club featured fashions from Highland Park Village merchants and presentation of the Equest Community Service Award to philanthropist Dee Wyly and her daughter, Emily Wyly, both of whom have been generous supporters of Equest over the years.

“I am honored to present a check to Equest from the luncheon proceeds,” said Lynn.   “The difficult economy makes it even more meaningful as we help sustain these important therapeutic riding programs for children and adults.”
