Current Equest Wish List (PDF Format)

Thank you for supporting Equest Therapeutic Horsemanship, your support will directly benefit our therapy tools – our horses and related program expenses.

Your donation TODAY will provide:

• Therapy programs – Benefitting children and adults with all types of disabilities.

• Rider Subsidization – Our fees for the families of the disabled are only 1/3 of the actual cost Equest has not increased fees in over five years.

• Care for our therapy horses – Veterinarian well-care for each horse is $5400/year.

• Safety and Adaptive equipment – Special equipment required to meet the needs of every rider and their therapy goals.

• New Horse Acquisition – Equest retires about 10% of the therapy horse herd each year due to age or medical concerns.

• Facility/Stable maintenance and improvements – The safety of our riders and horses is of the utmost importance at Equest.

Giving Levels and what that means to Equest:

• $2500—Sponsor One Rider for a Year

• $1500—Eight Hippotherapy sessions

• $1000—Summer Session Scholarship

• $  500—One session of Sports Riding

• $  250—Specialized tack/reins

• $  100—Safety Helmets for our riders

Food/catering donations to feed our wonderful volunteers are always greatly appreciated.

Tack and other horse related equipment or clothing can be donated to Equest by calling our riding center at 972-412-1099.
