MAKING CARROTS OUT OF LEMONADE
Zoe's Lemonade Stand: Inspired by the Love for a Pony
One hot summer day, a little girl named Zoe waited patiently beside her lemonade stand. Zoe had an idea to raise money for a very special pony named Crunchie. Crunchie is not any ordinary pony, he is the therapeutic pony she rides at Equest for her Hippotherapy treatments. Crunchie is a part of the team of physical therapists and dedicated volunteers that is helping Zoe overcome the challenges of Spina Bifida.
Zoe raised $100 over one weekend by selling lemonade for only 50 cents per cup! Zoe's sole purpose was to raise enough money to buy carrots for her therapy partner, Crunchie. Zoe's dedication to Crunchie is an inspiration to all who would like to change the lives of children and adults with disabilities.
Zoe and her family would like to challenge you to #MatchZoe and raise $100 before the North Texas Giving Day on September 18, 2014.
